The queue number is used to apply for a right-of-occupancy apartment. Applicant with the lowest queue number has priority for the apartment.

How do I apply for a queue number?

The queue number is obtained from the national queue number service of the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA). The order number is valid for 2 years.

Is the queue number mandatory?

A right-of-occupancy apartment can only be obtained with a queue number, but you can also submit the application without the queue number and add it later to the application in the application editing system. Alternatively, you can fill out a new application once you have obtained the queue number.

If you are applying for an apartment only within the same property, where you already live as a right-of-occupancy resident, you do not need a queue number.
